I am so happy I found Spain Savvy while planning our family trip to Spain. I worked with Cyra, and she was great. The itinerary was amazing, visiting cities and taking tours that I could not have planned on my own. She arranged all of our transportation within Spain, which was difficult because we had a few moving parts to work around. Cyra was very organized with that, and everything worked out perfectly. Every hotel, tour guide and restaurant was great as well. And while we were in Spain, she was available to answer any questions and handled any issues that arose very promptly. I highly recommend using Spain Savvy, and am so appreciative of everything they did to make our trip such a great experience. I can't wait to return to Spain and use them again!

I was planning to take a trip with my daughter to celebrate college graduation, and we were going spend about 2 weeks in Spain as part of our adventure. We had never been and I didn't have the time to plan with just a few months ahead of our departure date, so I started "googling" when I found the Spain Savvy website. As I read through the biographies of Sarah and her team, I immediately knew this was the kind of planning experience I was looking for.

I sent an inquiry to Spain Savvy, and they responded right away. After I took a survey, we scheduled a 30 minute Zoom call to discuss the type of trip I envisioned, places we wanted to visit, the types of activities we were interested, and the type of travelers we are. I gave Sarah my budget and travel dates and she took off running! It didn't take long for her, a superb travel planner, to put together the perfect itinerary for us, and importantly, kept it right within the budget. She didn't try to oversell me, helped me make decisions about splurge/must-do experiences, and helped me avoid the overly "touristy" things you can get sucked into from trending social media traps. Spain Savvy was a dream travel plannig company to work with!

Additionally, they kept in touch with us along the way, and when minor hiccups arose, they were right there to guide us through adjustments. Easy peasy. And the cherry on top? We got meet Sarah in person during our time in Seville! It was like seeing an long-time friend. 🙂

I can't stress enough how valuable it is to have an experienced, knowledgeable, and highly communicative travel planner with a positive attitude when you'er traveling to a country you've never visted. We had a seamless experience and highly recommend Spain Savvy to anyone who is traveling to Spain. They also plan trips to Portugal and Morocco, and have trusted partners in France, Greece, Italy, England, Scotland and Ireland. The possibilies are endless. Enjoy!

Sarah at Spain Savvy is the real thing! She planned our 2 week summer family trip to Barcelona and Mallorca and we had a wonderful time. Her recommendations were spot on. "When I first approached Spain Savvy and asked them to plan a 5 week trip in Spain and Portugal for three women in their youngish seventies, with varied interests in the arts, history, architecture, scenic beauty, food and wine; they took it on without batting an eye. Eventually a trip that included stays in eleven cities and day trips to several other cities was born. From the beginning, Cyra was easy to work with and receptive to our needs (triple beds and morning coffee). We were amazed at the final plan which included scheduled tours, suggested activities for independent exploration, travel pre- booked by train, bus and air, restaurant recommendations, reservations made as requested, all in an easy to use phone app and access to Spain Savvy when needed.
We did make use of our ability to reach out to Cyra or Sarah several times during our trip. They were always helpful, friendly and receptive to changes we requested. We even were able to join them for coffee in Seville and that was a real treat! They are equally as lovely in person as they are in their business dealings.

Summer 2023 - What an excellent two-week trip we had to Spain and Portugal. We covered a lot of ground in two weeks and had a wonderful sampling of the two countries (Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Lisbon & Porto). The accommodations, activities, and preset tours that Cyra and Sarah planned for us were excellent. We especially liked that there were restaurant recommendations throughout the trip. It was so nice having everything pre-booked and all the trip details available on the Trip Plan’s Ap. Also, Cyra and Sarah very available via WhatsAp to help with any changes during the trip.

We keep repeating the same words when we describe our recent three-week Spain Savvy trip to Spain and Portugal: deeply grateful and appreciative! We loved every minute of it, from rural Southern Spain to bustling Lisbon! We had not traveled since Covid and I was so fearful to make this first trip after almost three years. Megan and Sarah made the trip easy and memorable in every way! Working with Megan and Sarah, we felt like we were dealing with loving family. We were so impressed with how they really “got us” and designed an itinerary that was perfect for us. We loved the hotel selections (always in the perfect location)! We loved the restaurant selections (always fabulous, and we were so deeply appreciative of the extra care given to my husband’s vegan diet needs; what a fun and thoughtful addition to suggest the vegan food tour in Lisbon)! And we loved our guides in coastal Spain and the Douro Valley who were so proud to be sharing their love of their country with us! Over and above all the attention to detail, Megan and Sarah made us feel valued and taken care of the whole time. It was a special birthday year celebration for me and I was so deeply touched by the lovely birthday surprise(s) Megan arranged!

Megan and Sarah provided wonderful diverse experiences that made us smile and laugh our way through the entire trip. We loved the beauty of both Spain and Portugal, but mostly, we loved the beauty of the people... and Megan and Sarah are on the top of the list! After all the personal care they provided for us, they took time out of their busy lives to meet us in Seville in person. What a treat to get to hug and thank them in person!
