Fantastic food experience here! We tried the Artisan cheeses plate, so lovely; also had Cioppino and the Seared Duck Breast, both delicious, with great flavours. Service was excellent and the Cristam Viognier wine was perfect with our meals!

Amazing service, food, drinks, and ambience. Only three severs managing outside, inside, and bar seating. My server was amazing as she was serving people at the bar as well as myself. I decided to order the green salad, shrimp with Thai sauce in phyllo dough pastry and crème brûlée. I couldn’t get the scallops as the menu is only correct on their own website, due to the changes daily based on fresh fish availability. Loved this place!

Returned after a few years for a birthday dinner and found Cabezón to be as great as ever. The ambiance is welcoming and comfort. Seems like they expanded since I was there last time. The bar is beautiful; check out the jellyfish lights! Attentive service. Beautiful and complex menu focusing on a modest selection of well executed appetizers and entrées. Everything we ordered was delicious. Hard to go wrong! Highlights were the phyllo wrapped shrimp, smoked sturgeon, mussels, cioppino and lamb chops. A daily special was the snook, a fish you don’t often see on a menu. Get it if you can!

10/10, loved this experience!!

If you go, I HIGHLY recommend the lamb. It was the best thing I ate there, and easily ranks top 5 meals I’ve ever had in my entire life.

I wish I was still there, just so I could eat that lamb again.

I’ve been coming here off and on for the past 9 years and never been disappointed until recently... The flavors in their dishes are beautifully layered and the prices are reasonable for a nice sit down restaurant. Their cioppino has always been my go to dish but this last experience left me a little unsatisfied. The portions of crab were very minimal. The radicchio salad was also prepared minimally. Definitely not what I remember. Still giving 5 stars since it was hopefully just mishap 🙂 oh but my favorite chocolate dessert in PDX is the Pot de creme…. Absolutely the best taste, texture and generous portion!!

The seafood here is delicious and fresh! I had 3 different types of oysters, the caviar appetizer, the cesar salad, the cioppino, the monkfish gnocchi dish, and finished with the tangerine cake. Truly delicious, well balanced flavors through and through. Excellent service and beautiful interior, to boot.

It was busy but our dinner was still coursed well. Oysters were fresh and flavorful. A extensive wine list was appreciated. Fish was cooked perfectly. A fun area to explore but parking be a bit confusing due to the lay out of the streets. You’ve been warned! Maybe skip the cheese board unless you want it for dessert.
