Hi to everyone who is buying a home in Spain.
My family and I moved to Spain on a shoe string 10 years ago, first we rented, then we bought..
Right....

Do not buy anything without seeing and checking all paperwork!!!!

This guy thinks that a copy of the notas simple is not worth the paper it's written on, when in actual fact the bank won't give you a cent until they have this paper.
The notas simple tells you all about the property, who owns it, how big it is, if there are any debts on it etc
Stuart didn't have a copy of this document and said we didn't need it and it meant nothing.
The house was listed as number 10 with a floor plan of 35m2 per floor over 2 floors.
On the notas simple number 10 doesn't exist and hasn't been changed with the land registry.
Also the house was listed as 50m2
This Matters!!!!
It will cost you a lot to change it
You will need an architect to change it
You will have a lot of paperwork to do...In Spanish.
And then it still may well not go well.
Don't listen to this guy and beware!!
Don't be put off it's a great life here in Spain just do your research.

The guy i was contacting is arrogant with an attitude problem, refused to deal with me because i didn`t respond ta all the properties he sent me. avoid like the plague,... giving one star because it won`t let me give less
