Patrick made learning about Barcelona so interesting and fun with his videos and tour! We watched many of his videos before arriving in Barcelona. Then we booked The Gothic Quarter tour and it was fabulous! Patrick has a wonderful personality that enhances his relaying information about Barcelona! He offered also to answer any questions we had while in Barcelona and I appreciated that as well. If you want someone to help you learn more about Barcelona or other place in Spain, he is your guy!

We had a fantastic tour of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona with Patrick. We were a group of 9, with 5 kids (ages 3-12). The tour content/stops were a perfect blend for the kids and the adults. Patrick is great and just a really nice guy. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history, city, and culture. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would strongly recommend him to anyone. He is as advertised in his YouTube videos. My wife and I started planning a trip to Spain almost one full year ago, so we did what any wavy traveler would do: we went on YouTube and started researching Spain travel videos. We quickly found Patrick’s Barcelona travel videos, and let me tell you, these videos are a true gift for anyone planning a visit to Barcelona. We were so impressed with Patrick’s videos that we reached out and did a consultation with him via Zoom, which turned into a 2 day booking for our visit. In between our conversation and trip there were lots of emails to Patrick seeking advice or guidance on such things as the choice of hotel location. Communication with Patrick was fantastic and his help was invaluable. When it came time for our visit, Patrick met us at our hotel, and at that point we put the tour on autopilot and let Patrick take care of our Barcelona experience. It was a terrific 2 days of touring the city, and Patrick’s knowledge and love of the city are clearly evident. We traveled with another couple who shared our sentiment and agree that Patrick is well deserving of a “Best of Barcelona” award.

You may have heard this before but BEST GUIDE EVER! No joke Patrick delivered! We went on a walking tour of the Gothic area and his knowledge of Spain’s history and local information was impressive. Going to Barcelona and not booking a tour with Patrick is missing a lot of the little things that make a trip memorable. Especially if you love architecture and not just Gaudi. Barcelona was a top bucket list for us and it was important not to see only the Gaudi buildings but the other leading architects of his time too.
We started our tour in a beautiful square where a few scenes of UNCHARTED (2022) were filmed. I thought that was nice until Patrick said the Street light we were standing in front of was one of Gaudi's first commissions. Actually Barcelona commissioned 400 but Gaudi spent all the money they gave him on 4. AND 2 are in this square. (Bet you did not know that)
We then saw all the major works of Gaudi ending up at the Sagrada Familia where he spent much time explaining the building, and the ways Gaudi tied nature, God and Man into his designs.
We talked about Lluís Domènech i Montaner who designed the Palau de la Música one of the most beautiful theaters we have ever seen.
We stopped to admire the The Casa Amatller that was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch.
He showed us a lovely restaurant to have lunch before we toured the Sagrada Familia and we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Bodega La Palma.
Everything about our tour was absolutely perfect. Patrick exceeded our expectations. No question was left unanswered and many tidbits of information were shared in a friendly professional way.

We had an excellent tour of the Gothic Quarter that included roaming the streets of Rival and Born. We have watched Patrick on YouTube so had certain expectations and in meeting him via the tour, he exceeded our expectations. Patrick’s knowledge of the history of Barcelona is an element that differentiates him. Would highly recommend and would reconnect when back in Barcelona.
